1. Introduction – Welcome to life as a Wyndham Capital customer! We’ll contact you in the most convenient way possible to assess your needs, introduce ourselves, and set you up with a mortgage expert. Your mortgage expert will become your primary contact person and will guide you through the entire process.
2. Credit Report & Application – To start the mortgage approval process we need to pull your credit report. This is a step every lender takes to start the process; all we need is your permission. At this time we’ll also review and accept your mortgage application.
3. Options – Once your qualifying credit score has been accepted, you and your loan specialist will discuss your specific financial needs. Using this information, your loan officer will present a few options. They will then discuss the benefits of each and help you choose the best loan for you. After we’ve helped you select the perfect loan option, we’ll start to collect the necessary information needed to provide your loan. At this time we’ll also send your RESPA info and loan disclosures statements.
4. 3rd Party Services – Every mortgage lender is required to employ outside vendors to handle certain aspects of your mortgage transaction. Some of these services may include credit reporting and appraising.
5. Underwriting - After you have passed all checks and appraisals we will begin the loan underwriting process. Wyndham Capital uses state-of-the-art technology to finish this step as quickly as possible.
6. Closing – The very last step is to close the loan and sign the necessary documents. To make this as convenient as possible we’ll meet you at your home, the office, lunch or wherever is best. Once we’ve closed the loan you’re ready to buy your new home!
