John Diehl, Mortgage Banker

John is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Charlotte - Belk College of Business where he earned his Bachelor’s in Finance. After college he began his career in real estate by becoming a residential appraiser. He pursued this career for several years when he decided to explore the lending side of the industry in early 2010.

 

Working directly with the people he is helping and giving them the opportunity to own their own home gives John a great sense of fulfillment he never got as an appraiser and is one of the main reasons he made the transition a permanent one.  

 

“I never realized how much of an impact you can have on a person’s life and most importantly their family until the first time I helped someone get into their home and saw how much it truly meant to them.” Ever since, John has made a point to go above and beyond helping any one in any way he can with their mortgage needs.

 

A native of the south and having worked in sales while in college, John has developed a relaxed and friendly way to associate with his clients by making sure they feel at ease and comfortable while working with him as well as fully informed as he walks them through the complex mortgage process. He makes sure to take the time to look at each individual’s situation and provide them with the absolute best possible options to meet their financial goals - coupled with the best service that can be offered from any company in the industry, much of John’s business has come from referrals.

When John is away from the office he sets aside time for running, playing golf, mountain biking but most importantly spending time with his family and friends. He also makes sure to volunteer through his church and lend a hand at Habitat for Humanity as often as he can. And although he himself is not from Pennsylvania, his parents and relatives are, making him an avid Philadelphia sports fan.
