I come from a military family, so as a young child I moved around very often overseas in Korea which meant I had to adjust to different cultures, environments and learn how to interact with many different types of people. From these experiences, I have gained the ability to adapt quickly and learn how to communicate and connect with people from diverse backgrounds
The core and purpose to the Human Capital Department is to be a supportive pillar and advocate for employees and the business. Many people overlook the many ways we can provide support and be a partner to impact the culture of the company.
Our value impact has the most meaning to me. It helps me decide what type of initiatives to focus on and the strategy behind those initiatives to ensure the most amount of positive outcome.
We have zero lender fees, which is not common in our industry and that we are truly an honest company that strives to provide our customers value along with a good experience.
Upon graduating from Gardner-Webb University, Angela began her career in corporate financial services and then seamlessly transitioned to start her path within the mortgage industry. In 2012, Angela paved her way beginning at RoundPoint Mortgage gaining experience and knowledge of the lending side of mortgage, moving up in the ranks and quickly earning a leadership role within the Operations Management Team. During her time at RoundPoint Mortgage, Angela also migrated to the servicing platform within the Risk Department and rounded out her overall knowledge of the mortgage lifecycle. In 2016, Angela joined the team at Wyndham Capital to help build their Risk Department with Kimberly Spain. Angela hit the ground running and swiftly proved herself as accomplished in people, process and technology and was challenged to expand her knowledge into other areas of the business. She has worked with our Risk and Strategy Departments focused on workflow, project execution, and process efficiencies. Angela now undertakes her next challenge in Human Capital. She is excited to help redefine Wyndham’s culture and continue working on figuring out how to help employees be successful together in the ever changing mortgage industry, while still driving for results and having fun!
